Islanders, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on the recent update! Quite a lot was revamped, and we understand it’s not a cakewalk to wrap your head around all the changes. Below, we prepared answers to the most frequent questions about new features! ✨


Neighbor Visits:

❓ Where is the “Show Me” button the locate resorts on neighbors’ islands?

💬 While visiting your neighbors, you can see the small eye button on the bottom panel. Click it to find a resort.


❓ How fast does one guest action restore?

💬 It depends on your overall limit. Guest actions always restore from zero to their limit in 20 hours. Thus, the more actions you can have, the faster one action restores.


❓ I see a green checkmark above a neighbor’s resort. What does it mean?

💬 It means you have already visited this resort and have to wait. Hover your mouse cursor over the resort to see how much time is left.


Resorts:

❓ What is preparation energy, exactly?

💬 It’s a new type of resource needed to prepare spots at resorts. Each resort has its own preparation energy. When you prepare a spot, only that resort’s energy is spent. For 1 spot, you always need 1 energy. It restores from zero to its maximum in 20 hours, no matter how high the limit is.


❓ I can only prepare dozens of spots at once, what do I do?

💬 Today, the resorts’ interface was modified to address this issue and become more comfortable – make sure to check it out. The support team will be glad to see your feedback!


❓ Do I have to prepare the hammock and swing manually?

💬 Yes, now you have to prepare spots so neighbors could visit these resorts. This is different from before when you only had to collect hospitality points. To prepare spots, you don’t have to spend your own items or resources, only these resorts’ preparation energy.


Daily Gifts:

❓ How fast do the daily gifts restore?

💬 They restore over time after being used. From zero to the limit, it takes 20 hours.


Parcels:

❓ What are the postage stamps?

💬 These replace the old parcel value system. By default, you have a certain number of stamps that you spend on sending parcels. Each item has its own value in stamps. When you run out of stamps, you can wait for them to restore – they get back to the limit in 20 hours. You can also purchase additional stamps with diamonds.


❓ How can I send items outside of a neighbor’s wishlist?

💬 You can do this through the storage, just as before. Open your storage, find the item you want to send, and click the “Gift” button to open the parcel menu.


❓ How does one check the “value” of an item for exchange between neighbors?

💬 Open your storage, find the desired item, click the “Gifts” button, and look for the “Postage cost” at the bottom of the parcel menu.


❓ How do I see the timer of a parcel?

💬 Open the parcel menu, click “Accept,” and hover your mouse cursor over an item’s icon to see how much time is left for you to claim it.


❓ I sent a parcel, but my neighbor didn’t receive it!

💬 Please allow a few minutes delay when sending a parcel. If a lot of time passes without it coming though, please get in touch with our support team.


Cornucopia:

❓ What happened to my old charges?

💬 They are still in your fountain, no worries.


❓ But the game suggested I purchase more of them!

💬 Now, the offer to buy more charges can pop up even if your Cornucopia is charged. In case you purchase them, they are added to the fountain.


❓ Okay, but there was a calendar before, how do I know if I kept my charges?

💬 The calendar view was removed, but you can see how many charges you have overall at the top of the Cornucopia menu.


In which order are the charges claimed?

💬 Charges with more diamonds are prioritized. For instance, you will be able to get 200 and 120-diamond charges only after you claim all the 340-diamond ones.


❓ After the update, I lost my streak!

💬 Please get in touch with our support team and inform them about your issue – they will look into the problem.


Daily Tasks:

❓ Why is the “Send Gifts” task not counted toward the to-do list?

💬 It’s likely that your gift timer hasn’t run out yet. The thing is, when your neighbors send you gifts, the “Send and receive all gifts” button becomes green. But when you click it, you only receive gifts, not send them. Please pay attention to timers that appear in place of the “Open” buttons in the daily gift menu – that will hint at when you are able to send the gifts and get credit for this in daily tasks.


❓ I’m not getting diamonds for completing orders!

💬 Please note that you get diamonds for finishing the daily task, not doing individual orders on the board.


Wheel of Fortune:

❓ How can I win new prizes?

💬 New items were not added to the Wheel of Fortune itself but to the prize kiosk. To enter it, open the Wheel of Fortune and click “Prize Kiosk.” You’ll need sand dollars to purchase prizes.
