The main reward for helping Yorick is the Alien Astrolabe. You can charge it with either 5 emerald, or 3 sapphire, or 1 amethyst florin to make a wish. Possible rewards are growth elixir x25, sand dollars x10, 3 galleon trips contract x1, diamonds x75/150, precise butterfly net x1, energy x50/100, blue lures x5, purple lures x3, cow feed x30 and chicken feed x30. After taking the reward once, you’ll have to wait 7 days until the next time when you can recharge it. The Alien Astrolabe will not become a decoration.
