Whether you've just obtained the Shoot of Crape Myrtle or up to grow a little Palm for your Home Island, watch closely the Vitality of the Sprouts on the Island of the Plant Kingdom. A Sprout is only guaranteed to grow into a healthy Seedling if it is in an Excellent state when the growing time runs out.

Avoid leaving a Sprout in an Excellent, but bordering on Mediocre Vitality. If the Vitality lowers and the growing stops while the Sprout is Mediocre, it will most likely wither.
